Description: As publisher and co-developer of two Asian fantasy novels, I created illustrations, particularly maps, for both. Books are The Tale of Telsharu and The Scourge of Narak, both available from Amazon and Barnes & Noble.
My Roles/Contributions: Content was supplied by the authors, but I did all production work in Adobe Illustrator. Final copies were then rasterized as .tiff images to be laid out in the book in Adobe InDesign.
Graphic Details: Brushes that imitate Asian brush work were used for mountains and rivers to match the Asian theme of the books. Some iconography was also developed to indicate cities, towns, monasteries, and shrines, as well as woods, marshes, and grasslands.
