Directed the work of student instructional media consultants in a) 1st-tier user support for 1,500+ faculty users of the Blackboard LMS and b) the production of multimedia projects for faculty.

Brought in at the halfway point of a struggling 3-year, $500,000 grant project given to the school by RJR Nabisco. Successfully re-designed and completed the project to both the school’s and the sponsor’s satisfaction.

Taught the school district’s “Information Literacy” curriculum to students in grades 1 6, and managed school library media center; assisted students with book selections, read to Kindergartners, etc.

Supported sponsoring districts with training, technical support, and grant writing and represented the region in state technology meetings. (NUES is a nine-district regional service center serving all rural districts in northeastern Utah.)

Supervised the production of all user documentation. Designed and developed new documentation formats, style manuals, and processes and procedures to produce software user documentation. (AIS was a university bookstore management software developer.)

Garfield County School District
Conducted inservice training for teachers in the use of computer Panguitch, Utah 84759 technology in teaching, maintained district computers, made district technology purchasing decisions, wrote grants and directed resulting projects. In particular, wrote and directed the “Telelearning System” a electronic distance education system for rural schools funded by the Utah State Office of Education. (½ FTE with next position.)

Bryce Valley Schools (K12)
Oversaw library media for both elementary and secondary school libraries. Implemented a project to combine and completely re-catalog both libraries into a single facility and improve operations. (½ FTE with previous positions.)
